Why Wear a Custom Made Suit from Atlanta's Custom Suit Shop?
Off the rack suits, including designer label suits that sell for thousands of dollars, are made to fit if your measurements are an even number and you fit the parameters of the suit maker. A custom man’s suit is made to fit your measurements. Your custom suit will match where your arms are longer, fit where your shoulders slope at a different angle or make you look slimmer if needed. But there’s another factor. If you’re a professional, a business owner, or an officer of a company, you may be better off with a custom tailored suit.
Here’s how the Custom Suit Shop makes your custom suit fit you perfectly.
Step 1: Choose The Wool Fabric For Your Custom Suit
The first step is to choose your fabrics and colors. Although there are other fabrics for a quality suit, such as woolens and cashmeres, the worsted wools are the main fabric used in custom suits. Wool worsteds are used because of their finer quality and they can last for years with the proper care.
Worsted wool cloth is rated in Super numbers. Super 100s, Super 110s, Super 120s, Super 130s, Super 140s, Super 150s or higher. The higher the number, the finer the cloth, and the better it will feel to wear. The trade off is that the higher numbers feel great, but may not last quite as long and resist wrinkling as stouter worsted wools with lower numbers. The finer yarns in the worsted cloth also allow the weavers to use more colors and intricate patterns in the fabric. Because you're not paying for a designer brand name, you can choose higher quality fabric and pay a reasonable price for a better suit.
Step 2: Detailed Measurement For Your Custom Suit
When you come into the Custom Suit Shop, your tailor will make many measurements. The detailed measurements ensure minimal alterations.
Step 3: Choose Your Style
You can choose two or three button, or more if you like. Single breasted suits are more common, but you may be the man who looks good in the double breasted suit. If you are more conservative, opt for a classic suit. Your Custom Suit Shop tailor knows what suit styles are current and can help you choose what’s best for you. Your tailor can also tell you what best compliments your body type.

Step 4: Customizing Your Suit
You can even add personal touches to make your suit look unique. You can ask for specific types of buttons, a special cell phone pocket or no pleats in your suit pants.
Step 5: Your Final Fitting
Your Custom Suit Shop tailor will make any final adjustments you need for a great fit. We keep your final fitted sizes at the Custom Suit Shop, to make ordering easier. The second time that you buy a custom suit will be easier because your pattern will have been adjusted, corrected and stored so your final fitting will take less time. So do not put on any weight!
